Refer a friend
What is Refer a Friend?
A way to earn credit towards your own HRBC subscription when someone you refer pays for a subscription of their own. It can be used on any package, including Diamond. You do not have to refer anyone. The person who joins pays the normal package price. The credit comes to you, not as a discount on their price.
How much credit can I earn?
The monthly figures are Diamond £9, Gold £6, Silver £4 and Bronze £2, based on the package they pay for. Five friends on monthly Diamond are 5 times £9, which is £45. Monthly Diamond is £44.95, so £45 of credit covers that subscription period. They can refer people too, in the same way.
When is a referral credit applied?
A monthly payment earns the credit the following month. It is applied to your HRBC subscription. If you do not yet have a subscription payment set up, the credit waits until you do. The first month of credit is due one month after their payment period starts.
Is the credit reduced for quarterly or annual payments?
Yes. The credit is spread over the months that payment covers, and it is reduced in line with the discount. Quarterly is 7.5 percent lower: Diamond £8.33, Gold £5.55, Silver £3.70 and Bronze £1.85 in each of the three months. Annual is 15 percent lower: Diamond £7.65, Gold £5.10, Silver £3.40 and Bronze £1.70 in each of the twelve months.
What if the credit is more than the subscription price?
The extra is carried to the next period. It is not paid out. For example, £45 of credit against a monthly Diamond price of £44.95 leaves the remainder on the subscription for later.
Can I take the credit as cash?
No. It has no cash value and it cannot be withdrawn. It can only be applied to an HRBC subscription.
What happens to the credit if a payment is refunded?
A refund reduces referral credit that has not yet been applied. Credit that has already been applied to a subscription is not taken back.
How do I give someone my referral link?
Sign in and open Refer a friend. Each HRBC account already has a code. The page shows the code and a link. If they open the link, the code is remembered for 30 days and filled in on the subscribe form. They can also type the code. You cannot use your own code, and a code that is not recognised is not accepted.
Do I have to refer anyone?
No. The subscription price does not depend on referring anyone. Refer a Friend is an optional credit when someone you refer pays for their own subscription.
